Frequently Asked Questions
Please read over these commonly asked questions prior to your inquiry. Thank you!

Where are you located?

I am located at Built 4 Speed in Orlando, FL & guest spot frequently at Wolf & Goat in Denver, CO
Address: 640 N Hillside Ave Orlando, FL 32803

How do I get on your books?

-
I do my bookings in 4 month increments so that current clients get prioritized and completed in a timely manner.
-
After each booking period is up, I open up my books to inquiries - this will be doing through the booking form and I always communicate via email.
-
In person or virtual consultations may be requested or I may recommend we do one depending on the project.
-
If I feel like I am not best suited for your project, I will do my best to give you an artist recommendation to someone else in the area who I think may be a better fit.

What are your rates?

-
Pricing varies by the piece, taking into account placement, detail, and size of the project.
-
I will communicate ahead of time whether it will be a flat cost or an hourly of $200 and give you as accurate of an estimate as I can for how long you can expect the session to be and how much it will be in total.
-
I do flat rate for small tattoos & hourly for larger projects.
-
Full black and grey sleeves typically take 4-5 full day (6-8 hours) sessions to complete. Results vary based on anatomy, concept, detail, and how much we are able to get done in a day.
-
Deposit amounts vary by how long our session(s) will be and go towards final costs.
-
Deposits are non-refundable.

What is your guest policy?

I do have one additional seat within my private room for guests but I prefer that clients come alone to their tattoo appointments. This allows for me to focus on my work and provide you with the best possible tattoo experience. However, I understand that some clients may need or want to bring a guest for support. If you do choose to bring a guest, please keep the following in mind:
-
Guests must be at least 18 years old.
-
Guests must be respectful of the artist and other clients.

What should I wear?

This is super important! Make sure you are wearing comfortable clothing that allows for easy access to areas getting tattooed. I recommend also always wearing a darker color or black clothing since ink and stencil can sometimes transfer! Here are my recommendations for various placements -

-
For hips/sternums/back/chest pieces: A lightweight robe is a great piece of clothing to bring that allows for easy access & makes it easy getting dressed during breaks.
-
For hips: A bikini bottom that can be untied on the sides is ideal.
-
For sleeves: A strappy tank top that can be easily moved around is ideal.
-
For backs: A top that is open in the front that you can put on backwards is ideal.
-
Pasties & disposable thongs will be provided at the shop if necessary.

What should bring to the appointment?

-
A valid form of ID
-
Sunglasses
-
Snacks and drinks
-
A book or other form of entertainment (I have a personal TV & speaker you may use during your appointment)

What is the design process like?

My approach to tattoo design is deeply rooted in collaboration and a shared artistic vision. I believe that each tattoo should hold a unique significance for the wearer, reflecting their personality and complimenting their anatomy. My design process goes as followed -

-
Step 1: Consultation & Concept Development
-
We'll discuss your ideas, reference images, and any specific elements you envision. I will help guide you in terms of what I think would look best on the skin.
-

-
Step 2: Digital Sketch
-
The night before your appointment, I turn your ideas into digital drawing. This linework will serve as a foundation for further refinement and collaboration.
-

-
Step 3: Client Review & Finalization
-
Upon your arrival, I'll present the digital sketches for your review. We'll examine every detail, ensuring that the design aligns perfectly with your vision. Any necessary revisions will be made promptly, taking into account your feedback.
-

-
Step 4: Stencil Transfer
-
Once we've finalized the design, I'll create a stencil that will transfer the artwork onto your skin. The stencil serves as a guide for the tattooing process, ensuring precision and consistency throughout the application.
